Construction Permit for Agricultural Facilities in Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, the list of agricultural facilities that do not require a construction permit will be changed.
According to Trend, President Ilham Aliyev has approved amendments adopted by the Milli Majlis on December 19 last year regarding permit requirements for the construction of facilities engaged in agricultural activities.
Under the amendments to the Urban Planning and Construction Code, facilities related to agricultural activity have been removed from the list of structures that do not require construction permits.

According to the new regulations, no construction permit will be required for the following structures built on land plots owned, leased, or used by individuals:
- wells with a maximum volume of 60 cubic meters and a depth of up to 5 meters on privately owned land (excluding agricultural-purpose land);
- temporary structures with a capacity of up to 100 people (excluding agricultural-purpose land);
- greenhouses with a maximum height of 3 meters and an area of up to 300 square meters (excluding agricultural-purpose land).
